F2Pool: Bitcoin will not fork

The owner of the mining pool F2Pool Wang Chun said that Bitcoin hard fork was not only impossible, but it would not happen either.

He tweeted about it: twitter.com

Despite many comments and requests to clarify what he tweeted, no further statements were made by Wang Chun at the time of publication.

His tweet is on a new account that he made only on 20 March. Then he posted his first tweet, stating that he had deleted his previous account, which had served him 10 years.

On March 22, the F2Pool owner posted a collage, in which Steve Jobs laid flowers on a coffin. The image was accompanied by the inscription "RIP BU" (Rest in peace, Bitcoin Unlimited). Prior to that, representatives of F2pool have already expressed their support for Bitcoin Core.

According to Blockchain.info, F2pool is the third largest pool at the moment (10.9% of the total network hash rate), surpassed only by Antpool (16.5%) and BitFury (13%).

Previously, BitGo stated the extreme undesirability of hard fork for the entire Bitcoin ecosystem and refused to support Bitcoin Unlimited.
