Aleksey Muratov: Soon any personal computer user can manage his electronic assets

In the near future it will be possible to manage their assets in cryptocurrency from any home computer. It was announced by Chairman of the Board of the International Public Movement Change the World Together Aleksey Muratov.

This invention was patented by researchers of the Luxembourg University, Muratov informed. "Traditionally mining, and first of all it refers to Bitcoin, requires specialized and expensive equipment consuming significantly more computing power than standard home computers can offer. But scientists of Luxembourg developed an algorithm called Equihash allowing to carry out cryptocurrency mining even on ordinary home computers," he said.

"Equihash special feature is that the program does not allow to break the load into smaller work packages. As a result, you can achieve a more efficient mining on standard computers with multiple cores and sufficient RAM," Aleksey Muratov explained the principle of invention.

According to him, the developers of such cryptocurrency as Zcash have already adopted Equihash algorithm. "But the uniqueness of the algorithm is that it can be used in any other cryptocurrency. Moreover, Equihash also prevents the monopolization of mining process and creates a more democratic cryptocurrency allowing to join the process a greater number of users directly from their PC," Aleksey Muratov stated.

"As the developers note, Equihash algorithm allows to use cryptocurrency fairly and independently - almost perfect. In addition, they are convinced that their created solution will be an important contribution to computer science as a whole," Chairman of the Board of CWT emphasized.

Aleksey Muratov noted that recently the idea of using of free computer power of users is on trend. For example, an interesting project could become a decentralized cloud computing platform iEx.ec, the aim of which is to provide users with the ability to earn by non-usable capacity of their computers," the Chairman of the Board of Change the World Together resumed.
