Aleksey Muratov: use of ATMs to simplify use of Bitcoin

On Sunday, January 15, Chairman of the Board of the International Public Movement Change the World Together Aleksey Muratov held a conference with the activists of the movement in Chirebon city (West Java, Indonesia). During the meeting the book "CWT Ideology” of Aleksey Muratov was presented.

As Aleksey Muratov told, about 500 supporters of Change the World Together came to the conference. "During the meeting my colleague - the main leader of CWT in Indonesia Chuck Met and I were not just greeted by dances of peoples inhabiting Java island, but were made to take an active part in this ritual. And it was necessary for this to wear a special mask which all the dancers put on," Chairman of the Board of CWT said.

Ritual dances of of Java island are whole theatrical performance where actors use masks to indicate a certain image, his character. "As my friends from Indonesia told me, there are only nine main images of masks used in dances. These are masks of saints, people of different ages or social statuses, their pieces of character. Chuck Met and I were identified the masks of "heroes" or "leaders" who lead many people to exploit," Aleksey Muratov said. He added that as a result they have been handed over the masks as a gift, in order to help in future work.

In addition, during the conference the leaders of Change the World Together again gave financial assistance to one of Indonesia's children's homes. "It has become a good tradition that at each conference some funds are transferred by our leaders in children's homes. The best students of these institutions also receive individual grants from Change the World Together movement," Aleksey Muratov stated.

During the presentation of the book Aleksey Muratov told not only about the content of his book, but also he briefed CWT supporters with the latest news in the financial technologies area. In particular, according to Chairman of the Board, technologies, which allow cashing Bitcoin from ATMs, are being introduced at the moment.

ʺA Spanish cryptocurrency wallet HolyTransaction Trade has signed an agreement with a HalCash platform, which allows sending and receiving money both within Spain and abroad this week. Now residents of Spain are able to exchange Bitcoin to fiat currency and vice versa using ATMs of financial institutions, which are connected to the HalCash platform. Currently, the HalCash network includes 8000 ATMs located in Spain and 2000 ATMs in Poland,ʺ Aleksey Muratov said.

He also noted that such technology would be introduced in Indonesia soon. ʺAt present, Indonesian financial institutions are considering enabling the service of cashing Bitcoin from ATMs. I am sure that, on the one hand, it will allow banks to expand their customer bases and, on the other hand, it will simplify the use of Bitcoin for population,ʺ Aleksey Muratov summed up.
